Our method of working – 5D

Both small and more complex projects put great demands on both our clients and on us. To simplify the process and arrive at fast and cost effective results, we have developed a structured working process - we call it 5D - which covers each phase from start to follow-up. We work closely with our clients during each step of the process.

Define

Knowledge about consumers and the market is crutial  especially when we meet a new consumer behaviour.

This phase may include consumer trend workshop, consumer segmentation, an analysis of the market and competitors, digital site checks and a commercial assessment of the stores, packaging, or identity. And last but not least strategic implications.

Experience has taught us that this first phase, where we agree on the conditions of the project is very important. Being clear at this point eliminates misunderstandings and ensures total control of time schedule and budget.

Develop

This is the phase when a strategy and new conceptual ideas are developed.
For strategies to be understood and carried out in an organization they need to be visualized and during this phase we develop mood boards and start sketching on various creative solutions to test how well the strategies stand up in real life.

Design

Consequently, when we reach for the innovative solutions, we are already way ahead in the creative process. We like to show rough sketches at an early point to give our clients a feeling for, and involve them, in the creative work. Finally the early sketches are developed into desired solutions.

Do

Project administrators guide the implementation of the project.

Drive

This is the starting point for realizing the finalized concept. We guide and help our client with regular health checks of the concept and necessary improvements. We can also assist with rollout by supporting crucial conceptual points.
Through our daughter company Bengtsson & BAS we also provide establishment strategy and support. 

The 5D process means that we can ensure a high quality total delivery that meets our client’s expectations.
